Families House launch brand new website

Local Norwich charity Families' House have just gone live with their brand new website. The registered charity was set up in 1994 to support families in Norwich and Norfolk who face difficulties in bringing up their children.

When family breakdown occurs the charity is on call to lend a hand through their programme of various support services including befriending, drop in services, holiday activities and training courses.

P1 have supported Families' house with NetGuard, their popular IT support service for many years. When Families' House decided they needed a brand new website P1 offered to create the site free of charge to help raise awareness for Families' House. The aim of this was to help with their current fundraising drive which see's them attempting to raise £100,000 in donations to plug a short fall in government funding.

The site is fresh and energetic and represents the child focussed services which Families' House provide. It benefits from its own events roster and donation page where anyone can easily donate and contribute to helping the registered charity. They have plans to develop the site further in the future to provide interactive services such as discussion forums and support facilities.

One of the key goals was to improve usability and make the site as easy to navigate as possible. It was favoured to go with a minimalist design to allow all essential information to be easily accessed by users of all ages and ability.
