Fantastic win by Anglia DNA!

Scientist-turned entrepreneur and Norfolk Network member Thomas Haizel and his team celebrate a double success in the EDP Business Awards.

Anglia DNA Services Limited triumped over stiff competition to win the "Best New Business Award" at the EDP's glittering awards ceremony on Friday night.

Not only that, but the company was also selected as one of the three finalists for the Barclays Business of the Year award. A really impressive performance for a business that is only two years old!

Thomas was absolutely delighted to be selected for this prestigious award, praising his team for their hard work and commitment to great customer service. As to the future - the business is looking not only at new markets in the UK, but aspires to be a global business.

We've no doubt that Thomas and his team have the passion and determination to get there and warmly congratulate them all on their success. Come along and meet Thomas at our next event on 25th October, he'll probably still be celebrating!

May Gurney celebrating winning the Business Development Award and being selected the Business of the year - on the eve if its 80th birthday! Norfolk County Council also did well on the night, winning the Design and Development award for the Time and Tide Museum, and the Environment Award for the Norwich Bus Station.

Other double Award winners were Digital Insurance Services for the Enterprise Challenge and Customer Care Awards.

Other winners were Mills and Reeve for the Community Impact Award and Byfords Cafe for the Staff Care Award. Norwich City Football Club/Flegg High School took the Best Industry/Education Link Award.

Our congratulations to all the finalists and winners!
