Maltser in top 100 of fast growing firms

Norfolk malt group Anglia Maltings has been listed as one of the fastest growing international sales companies.

Anglia, which owns Crisp Maltings, based near Fakenham, makes malt and supplies it to breweries worldwide.

It increased its international sales by 45pc over two years to the year end December 2008, totalling nearly £18m at the end of that year.

Its total sales were about £93m that year.

The firm's parent holding company, Ragleth, was listed at 98 in the Sunday Times International Track 100.

In the EDP Business Guide 2010 and Top 75 the firm was listed at number 29, having risen from number 50 the previous year, with £100.6m turnover for the year ending December 2009. It was listed as having 232 staff.
