NEW INTERNATIONAL TRADE ADVISER FOR THE REGION
A new regional international trade adviser specialising in
information and communication technology (ICT) has joined the team at Business Link for Cambridgeshire.
Graeme Bilton is an experienced ICT professional who has worked on export operations for a number of technology-based companies before becoming part of the UK Trade & Investment international trade team at Business Link.
Graeme said:
"Making the first steps into trading overseas can be a real leap into the unknown for companies. It is an area where they need help and support from experienced professionals to ensure they take the right approach for their business and spend their money wisely. If they do it wrong, it can be a costly exercise; if they do it right then it can transform their business."
Graeme's role is to help make sure that those initial steps businesses take are the right ones for them. He said:
"Through UK Trade & Investment we can provide a range of assistance from market intelligence to finding business contacts from the local commercial staff in the market. This is not only useful for those new to the international trade scene, but also for companies which have been exporting for many years."
"I am looking forward to working with the many exciting businesses in this region."
