P1 is an established IT services and software development company based in Cringleford, Norwich. We employ an eclectic and experienced team of 20 people and have a diverse and interesting range of clients both regionally and around the UK. We are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
Our spin off business Orchestrator provides a world-class software solution into the logistics industry and our Norfolkshoring brand is winning us new business in London, while helping to promote the great county that we all live and work in.
To date, appointment setting and lead generation has been predominantly provided by third party companies but we've decided to bring the function in-house.
The Role
The main purpose of the role will be to generate well qualified appointments and leads for our Sales Director, Client Services Manager and Consultants.
Working with these individuals you will help to devise new business campaigns for P1, Orchestrator and Norfolkshoring and ensure we have a room full of people whenever we run events. You will in some cases also provide web based demonstrations and presentations to help to try and reduce the length of sales cycles for certain products and services - so you will never feel as you are doing the same thing day in day out.
Although often supported by PR, email and newsletters your primary tools will be the telephone and our CRM system, where you will ensure that all leads and actions ( call backs, appointments, information requests etc) are captured and assigned to the appropriate individual to ensure we don't miss out on any opportunities.
The Right Person
The ideal person will have previously worked within a B2B telesales environment and have a background of success ideally in the IT/software industry. We will however consider individuals from sales backgrounds within the wider business services industries.
Most importantly you should be able to think quickly, deal with objections and build rapport with prospects rapidly by focussing on business benefits not technical wizardry.
You must be driven, self motivated and results oriented with a minimum of 24 months of B2B telesales experience in business services.
