Next generation ventures at UEA

Lucy Marks
Norfolk Network

Here at UEA we believe in the power of innovative thinking and entrepreneurial action to create a better world. Hear directly from some of our game changing students and alumni about how they are making a difference to people and planet. Our guest speakers will tell their stories to inspire, motivate and show how you could also make it happen. There’ll be food, drinks and a student enterprise market featuring just a handful of our success stories.

UEA Student Enterprise Team can help students and graduates explore, develop, launch, grow and scale a business through a programme of workshops and events, with support from entrepreneur mentors and up to £50,000 of funding.

This is also a unique chance to find out how UEA already collaborates with local business, in terms of accessing talent, funding and expertise. On the evening, UEA will be launching a new £22 million co-investment initiative: the Low Carbon Innovation Fund 2 (LCIF2). The fund will invest in SMEs based in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Hertfordshire, whose technology or products/services make a substantial reduction in greenhouse gases.

Meet the people that make this all happen and discover what opportunities you could unlock as part of our growing business community.
