Beyond Green – Sustainable brands for all

10 May 2023 5:30pm

Robert Jones, Professor of Brand Leadership at UEA, talks to Co-founders Thomas Panton and Hugo Douglas-Deane on their recent rebrand from Greenr to Canopey

Their mission as a company has always been to break out of the ‘eco-conscious echo chamber’ and make sustainability more exciting, accessible and ultimately more mainstream.

We explore

– how businesses can position sustainability values in a way that customers can easily understand without sacrificing convenience

– the opportunities for innovation and increased market share

– the future of legislation and regulation and why it’s increasingly important for brands to communicate sustainability with clarity, transparency and authority

We then open up a wider discussion to hear your thoughts and experience.

Programme

5.30pm-6.00pm: Arrival and welcome drinks

6.00pm-7.15pm: Guest speakers and audience discussion

7.15pm-8.00pm: Networking over drinks and light bites
