Adrian Melrose: dare to disrupt

22 February 2017 6pm

If there’s a single quality you need to be a successful entrepreneur, it’s the ability to take big, bold decisions. Adrian Melrose has that quality in spades. After 20 years as a chartered accountant in London, in 2007 he sold up and moved to Suffolk to launch a brand new career in the digital world.

Did it work? It did. His Inn Style travel-tech venture is powering ahead, and living in the countryside has enabled Adrian and his wife, Fiona, to set up a free-range pig-breeding business at Rosery Farm near Woodbridge. Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, he’s also the co-founder of the Art for Cure charity, which raises money for breast cancer research.

Norfolk Network heard Adrian’s story from early internet ventures to current and future projects. Revealing the intoxicating aspects of the entrepreneur’s life, he discussed the value of disruptive business. And, of course, there was that big, bold decision to turn things upside down…
