Disruptive innovation with Sarah Mintey
After 20 years in education Sarah turned to educational technology and founded Developing Experts in 2015.
The business was born out of Sarah’s passion for helping young people understand how a subject is applied in the real world. She knew from her own experience that this is only possible if a teacher is confident about the subject they are teaching and it’s application to the world of work. She set out to build online resources to empower teachers to teach each subject like an expert!
Norfolk Network heard how Sarah built a company in less than three years which will employ more than 100 staff by January 2019, partner with the largest distributor and publishing house in the Middle East, and be liaising with three different governments to supply contracts to their schools!
