Norwich is changing its own script. It is about to develop a reputation for high-growth tech and creative businesses which will draw in investment and have analysts scratching their heads about how we did it. Tom will look at the building blocks which communities and institutions have put in place over the last 10 years. He’ll describe what’s going to happen in the next 10 years – and what people committed to the growth and prosperity of the city need to do to help.
Tom is a partner at Akcela Ventures, a business incubator in Norwich city centre. He’s an angel investor and active across a variety of city meet-up groups and communities like Syncthecity and Hot Source. He was also a founder of Foolproof, a digital product design studio which he grew out of Norwich to have offices in Singapore, South Africa and India.
