This site is operated by Norfolk Network Limited, a private limited company registered in England & Wales with company number 08332529 whose registered office is at Ashtons Legal, Trafalgar House, Meridian Way, Meridian Business Park, Norwich, Norfolk NR7 0TA. We take compliance with our legal duties in respect of your personal data seriously and have appointed a data protection officer to monitor and oversee our legal compliance who can be contacted on the details below.

What information we hold about you
We collect personal information whenever you provide it to us. This personal information may include the following:

  • name and contact details
  • additional personal information provided by you relating to your enquiry

How we use your data
Where you sign up for our newsletter, we will use your information for the purposes of providing you with our newsletter.

Where you purchase tickets for one of our events we will use your personal data in order to process your order, payment and provide you with tickets to the event. We may also use your name, job title and company details in order to prepare a delegate list. We will not include any of your contact details on the delegate list.

Where you become a member of Norfolk Network we will use your details to process your payment, provide you with membership services and to create and maintain the required record of you as a Norfolk Network member.

We occasionally receive requests to make introductions between our members. Where we receive such a request we may use your details to contact you in order to provide you with the contact details of the party requesting the introduction to enable you to pursue the introduction at your own discretion. If you would prefer we did not facilitate introductions with you, please let us know using the contact details below and we will ensure we no longer contact you for this purpose.

Who we may share your data with
We may use and share aggregated statistical data regarding usage of our service with third parties but will not provide such third parties with any personally identifiable information about you.

Delegate lists will be made available to all attendees of events and may be made available to our sponsors, members and others who we are discussing sponsor or member benefits with. We will not disclose your contact details.

We may disclose your personal data to:

  • our agents and service providers who provide us with the platform for you to interact
    with us through this site
  • a third party who acquires our business
  • law enforcement and regulatory agencies in connection with any investigation to help
    prevent unlawful activity or as otherwise required by law

Keeping your data secure
We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data, for example access to your personal data is limited to approved staff.

While we will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal data, you acknowledge that the use of the internet is not entirely secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that are transferred from you or to you via the internet.

Reasons we can collect and use your personal information
When you purchase tickets to our events or become a Norfolk Network member we need to process your personal details to fulfil our legitimate interests in order to process your order, take payment, provide you with membership benefits and/or tickets to our events and to manage our events including through the production of delegate lists.

Where you become a Norfolk Network member we process your personal information in order to create and maintain the required record of your membership in order to perform our obligations under the contract between us and you.

Where you sign up to receive our newsletter and are not an existing customer of ours we use this for the purpose of providing you our newsletter on the basis of your consent. If you would prefer to no longer receive our newsletter, please follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletter or let us know using the contact details below and we will remove you from our mailing list.

Transfer of data out of the EEA
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) where we use service providers who store our data outside of the EEA. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

  • the countries we transfer your personal data to have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data by the European Commission;

Retention of data
Your data will be retained for as long as you wish to remain on our mailing list for our newsletter.
Where you purchase tickets or become a member of Norfolk Network your data will be retained for up to 7 years following the point at which you cease to be a member or the last event that you attend or as otherwise required by law or accounting requirements.
